Q1: Describe your ideal SAP role?
Assisting a customer with becoming more self sufficient on SAP. Assisting a customer with getting more value from their existing SAP system. A customer can never truly be happy with SAP. I strive to make them happier...
Q2: Which role would suit you best - a manager, team member or soloist? Please explain why?
SD and/or VC Team lead that retains the role to both manage the team and design complex business processes in SAP. Lots of times I end up as the SD/VC team lead of me, myself and I.
Q3: What are your greatest strengths when working in SAP?
Knowing that SAP skills come third behind business process skills and consulting skills. Building sound designs that support business processes in and OUT side of SAP. Make life easier for the users whilst still satisfying management's wildest desires.....
Q4: Use 5 words to describe yourself - keep it clean :-)
Honest (even if it leads to less work for me.)
Unwilling: to take no for an answer from SAP....
Q5: What motivates you to excel at work?
SAP consulting offers great money and awesome flexibility. What I enjoy most is putting in a great solution for a customer that is not over-bearing (consultants love putting in super-efficient solutions when the customer is not ready for that. Cheap and cheerful works best for them, at this time..). A solution that may be inventive in its use of SAP, which ultimately leads to increased profit or decreased cost for the customer. And having fun along the way. SAP can be so dry, especially VC! We have a three year old and an old dog. That's what it's all about.... I do not want to miss any of it....so SAP has given me several years of mostly remote working. I hope to find some more.
